HIGHLIGHTS

Looking back with an eye to the future.

This year, we have tackled many issues and worked tirelessly. With standard products whose quality you can trust. Solutions you can rely on. Innovations that drive progress.

In more than 30 TAR projects, in which we tested 15,000 flange connections and documented 1,300 findings. With 150,000 lot-tracked goods movements, 2.5 million gaskets in stock, 400 tons of raw materials and 200 different material grades, we deliver supply chain efficiency and reliability.

Whether it's PFAS regulation or carbon-neutral operations, 2024 has shown that progress and sustainability must go hand in hand. From alternative materials to transparent climate strategies, we work with you to develop solutions that last. These issues will continue to shape 2025.

We have put together a collection of our most recent technical articles on these trending topics exclusively for you on our website.

INDUSTRY & TRENDS

Technologies that move.

New technologies kept us on our toes in 2024. From artificial intelligence and its applications in industry to solutions for a sustainable hydrogen landscape, we are excited to see what opportunities these developments will bring in 2025.

For us, the Hannover Messe, which runs from March 31 to April 4, 2025, is the place to be. This is where we showcase solutions for the hydrogen industry and actively shape the energy transition.

FROM FACE TO FACE

Connections that last

2024 was full of valuable encounters – at ACHEMA, Hydrogen Technology Expo, and Valve World. At international events and at our anniversary celebration. These shared moments create lasting connections. In 2025, we will build on that – with new ideas, trade shows in Europe and Asia, and even more opportunities for face-to-face interaction.

For us, the year starts at the Oldenburger Pipeline Forum and Pumps & Valves in Dortmund. Together with maintenance, Pumps & Valves is one of the leading MRO shows in the industry. On February 19 and 20, we will be there with our Advanced Services and our complete product range. Our team is looking forward to meeting you in hall 5, booth K16.

On February 20, our Advanced Service Engineer Michael Balcerek will be on the SolutionCenter stage to discuss the potential for optimization in flange integrity management and present an approach that takes a 360° perspective.

PERSPECTIVES

Our theme for 2025: Bullish on Business.

Admittedly, we didn't come up with the theme ourselves. “Bullish on Business” was the title of a workshop hosted by the Future Institute last week. The aim was to look at current disruptions and transformations through spectacles of opportunity, to inspire action rather than paralysis in the face of uncertainty.

There were great impulses, valuable insights into megatrends, fresh perspectives and practical tips on how to quickly implement innovative business ideas.

My personal take-away: Megatrends are slow-motion avalanches.

At first, they move almost imperceptibly and are often underestimated. But once they pick up speed, they develop immense power and can transform – or overrun – entire industries.

The trend toward non-alcoholic beverages is a fascinating example of how megatrends are changing our society and creating new markets. Combined with digitalization, it not only creates new business models, such as a non-alcoholic Späti in Berlin, but also to the corresponding distribution channels, including an online shop.

I won't try to deny it: the next few years will be challenging. But with curiosity, courage and determination, we can create opportunities for innovation and progress.

“A path is made by walking.” I look forward to it.
