With plenty to enjoy, sit back with your picnic and revel in The Parks Trust's glorious community celebration of multicultural music and dance on the amphitheatre stage or join in with a dance workshop.
Throughout the afternoon the Festival will be presenting a series of events to complement the wealth of activities taking place in the Park.

Hardeep Singh Kohli officially opens the World Picnic at 1pm: TV personaliity, chef and broadcaster Hardeep also presents his show ‘Indian Takeaway’ show in The Spiegeltent at 2pm.
Guixot de 8, 1pm – 7pm: Large, colourful mechanical puzzles and games from Barcelona, made from reclaimed materials. Part of IF Focus: Catalan and Balearic Islands events, presented in association with the Institut Ramon Llull.
MuMusic Circus: Roda Món (My Wheel), 1.30pm and 4.30pm (50 minute show): A fascintating, highly visual and theatrical Catalan performance combining music and circus. Part of IF Focus: Catalan and Balearic Islands events, presented in association with the Institut Ramon Llull.
Etta Ermini Dance Theatre: Picnic, 1pm, 2.30pm and 5.30pm (20 minute show): A young couple’s happy picnic is disrupted by the pitfalls of their relationship, with dramatic results.
The Singing City Choir on the Amphitheatre Stage (time tbc): A range of songs including the specially composed song for The Boat Project in Milton Keynes.
