IF YOU WANT TO SEE A DIFFERENT SIDE TO MILTON KEYNES

Rimini Protokoll: Remote Milton Keynes

Berlin-based Rimini Protokoll - artists Stefan Kaegi and Jörg Karrenbauer - will create a unique trail through Milton Keynes for up to 50 people at a time which will run throughout the 10 days of the Festival.

People who have never met before will come together, wearing radio headphones, to explore the city in an entirely new way…

A voice in the headphones (familiar from GPS navigators or airport announcements) will direct the movements of the group. New connections to people and places are made as participants savour the world they live in and see it with fresh eyes, or enjoy discovering Milton Keynes as it heads towards its 50th year in 2017.

Remote X is an international phenomenon. The project has taken place in locations across the world including Berlin, New York, Basel, Moscow and Milan.

Remote Milton Keynes is an audiowalk lasting approximately 90 minutes. It will feature a specially commissioned soundtrack and storyline created for IF: 2016, inspired by Milton Keynes. Please take note of the information at the end of this webpage before and when you take part.
