Specially commissioned by The Stables and the Festival, Liquid Gold Is The Air is a beautiful, award-winning video installation, made by renowned choreographer Rosemary Lee and film-maker Roswitha Chesher.
This vibrant and compelling three-screen video-work captures fleeting vignettes and distilled moments from the live outdoor production of Under The Vaulted Sky.
This production in Milton Keynes’ magical Cathedral of Trees, was a highlight of the 2014 International Festival and featured over 100 performers, including many adults, young people and children from Milton Keynes.
Liquid Gold Is The Air will be located in Queen’s Court and presented in a specially made oak garden room with a wild flower roof created by Milton Keynes-based horticulturalists Bridgman & Bridgman.
Rosemary Lee will give a talk - Creating Liquid Gold - on Saturday 16 July at 2pm. Read more here
