Led by iconic frontwoman Pauline Black, legendary 2 Tone ska band The Selecter has a top notch line-up including Neil Pyzer (Spear Of Destiny) and Will Crewdson (Rachel Stamp), and is co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson.
The anarchic passion that fuelled Selecter gigs during the 2 Tone era, when they toured with the Specials and Madness at the peak of their early fame, is still there, except that Pauline and Gaps seem more driven than ever.
Their confidence is sky-high and they’re also writing the best songs of their career (the album Subculture, released 2015), which is a real feat given the enduring popularity of hits like Three Minute Hero, Missing Words and On My Radio.
Get your (2 Tone) dancing shoes on – this promises to be a priceless gem of a gig!
