Hi there!

Enjoy the October Edition of the Kolibri Games Newsletter. This is where we review the events of the past month and keep you updated on recent company and product milestones.
Kolibri Games Game Jam
The month of October was dedicated to our Kolibri Games Game Jam! 70 Kolibris came together for a full weekend of creativity, brainstorming, and lots of caffeine. Not only the event but the results also turned out amazing. In only 72 hours we created eight prototypes and ten pitch decks ranging from basically every theme, era and environment one could imagine. So what’s going to happen with all these awesome ideas? Well, you have to stay tuned to find out which idea might make it into one of our next hit games. Until then, check out our blog post for a recap of the game jam!
Guillaume Verlinden
Our Managing Director Guillaume Verlinden spoke to Joakim Achrén from the Elite Game Developers podcast about his experience in leading game teams, how green-light processes should work, and why growing teams and games can be quite the challenge sometimes.

In the last episode of season 2 of our Kolibri Games podcast, we spoke to Theresa Zöckler from Planetly about our partnership with the climate policy firm. Find out more about how Planetly works, how we track emissions, what carbon offsetting means, and why this is an important topic for all companies, including mobile gaming studios.
Over on the blog, we celebrate five years of Idle Miner Tycoon with IMT Product Director Bruno. He shares an exclusive look into how we scale our most successful mobile game, what tips he has for other game creators, and what our plans for the future of the game are.

If you’re interested in how our game teams work from the first ideation stage to the finished MVP, take a look at our social media channels, where we’ve followed Team Odyssey on their path of game creation.
Kolibri Games Soccer Team
Besides our game jam adventure, we came together for our regular virtual lunch and gaming nights. We also want to congratulate our Kolibri Games soccer team for a successful summer season in the Berlin Startup League. Scoring 21 points, and seven wins so far, we are more than proud of our Kolibri soccer stars.
