    BODY ON FRAME*
Land Cruiser’s robust body on frame construction
uses high tensile sheet steel for a lightweight design, which maintains maximum strength and rigidity. It also isolates the cabin from suspension impacts for greater comfort even in rough road conditions.
KINETIC DYNAMIC SUSPENSION SYSTEM
(KDSS)§ OFF-ROAD*
KDSS allows the wheels to remain firmly on the ground and provide greater traction and stability on the roughest terrain.
HILL-START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC)*◊/
DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL (DAC)*◊
HAC helps to ensure a smooth start on steep inclines and prevents the vehicle from rolling back. When descending off-road, DAC applies individual brakes to keep the vehicle stable.
ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION (AVS)* **
AVS continuously adapts shock absorber damping at the front and rear in response to the road conditions and automatically selects the most appropriate ride mode: Comfort, Normal or Sport.
