Description

The file nbinll.m contains MATLAB code for a function returning the log-likelihood of a set of parameters. The likelihood is based on the assumption that the given count data (DATA) is negatively binomially distributed around predefined expectations (X), with the overdispersion parameters ω (OMEGA) and θ (THETA). The file itself contains MATLAB style user instructions/help.

The file nbinll.doc is basically the same information as in previous file but in MS-Word format. This file is visually more appealing for viewing the code outside the MATLAB editor.
