Appendix D (Table D1). ANOVA table comparing differences between the (a) linear extension and (b) calcification of Acropora millepora recruits grown at ambient (389 μatm) and elevated (753 and 1267 μatm) pCO2 after 60 days post-settlement growth. Spat diameter data were highly non-normal so were analysed using P values generated by permutation on fourth root transformed data to meet the requirements for homogeneity. No transformation was necessary to meet the requirements of normality or homogeneity for the recruit weight data. The P values of the post-hoc tests are shown in the parentheses of the comparison.
