Parking & Getting Around

Central Milton Keynes has good parking facilities and ample cyclepaths and flat access/walkways.

The Festival welcomes people with disabilities. Festival sites will be made as accessible as possible and there are good all-weather paths around Willen Lake.

Willen Lake and South Willen Lake Park (Festival Central MK15 0DS) are located between the H5 Portway (A509), V11 Tongwell, H6 Childs Way and V10 Brickhill Street. The Park is linked to the city centre via leisure routes through Campbell Park and Newlands: Facilities, Getting There and Parking

South Willen Lake Parking: Parking is managed by Napier Parking and is not free in this area. There is pay-and-display car parking and pay-and-display Blue Badge (see below for concessions) parking at the North and South Willen Lake car parks, off the Newlands and Lakeside roundabouts, both off V10 Brickhill Street. Festival Stewards will guide you to nearby parking if these car parks are full.

Cathedral of Trees (for Under The Vaulted Sky): Located opposite Willen Lake at Newlands, just off the junctions of V10 Brickhill Street and H5 Portway (A509) and off Livingstone Drive.

Cathedral of Trees Parking (for Under The Vaulted Sky only): There is limited parking and pay-and-display parking and pay-and-display Blue Badge parking (please see below for concessions) near the main entrance to the Cathedral, off Livingstone Drive. Overflow parking is located at Gulliver’s Land Theme Park (MK15 0DT), also off Livingstone Drive. Festival Stewards will guide you to nearby parking if these car parks are full.

Blue Badge Parking Concessions: If you are a blue badge holder and are exempt from paying vehicle tax you are eligible to claim a free annual parking permit for Willen Lake (worth £120). You can download an application form from Napier Parking's website. Together with your completed application form you will need to provide a copy of your Blue Badge and of your nil value tax disc. Please note that an administration charge of £10 will apply. For more information please telephone Napier Parking Ltd on 01730 828103 or email: services@napierparking.co.uk. You can also apply in person at Napier Parking’s office, located by the Watersports Centre at Willen Lake South (between 9am and 5pm). Please note that Blue Badge parking at Willen Lake car parks still incurs a charge unless exemption is applied for in advance.
