Print a Final Report¶

Once the data set is complete and as the Reviewer you are happy with the data, you can now “print” the report. As ETAS charges are based upon the size of the report, you need to be connected to the internet to do this and be in enough credit; you may increase your credit from this screen.

  1. Click |print icon| (Print).
  2. Select “Final”, enter your password then click “Sign In”.

When you have signed in, a further screen will appear showing the amount of credit you have and the amount of credit the report will cost.

The amount of credit charged is based upon the number of circuits “Tested”, “Untraced” or “Unkown”. Circuits will not be charged for, where they have been defined as “Spare”, “Not Used” and “RCD for Adjacent Fuseway”.
  1. If you have the facility for printing on both sides (duplex), ensure that the Double-Sided check box is ticked.
Note:
You will have to check your printer duplex settings. If you do not have duplex facilities, clear this box. The software will configure the report layout for duplex printing showing the specification of the board and circuits on the left hand page and the results on the right hand page.
  1. Click “Print”.

When you click on “Print”, a warning splash will appear stating that the data will marked as signed off. The warning splash can be turned off by clearing the “tick” check box.

  2. Click “Close”.

If you have a PDF Viewer installed, it will be launched to display the report.

The pdf report may be printed off as a hard copy, or sent as an e-mail. Note: Any attachments will need to be printed off separately. If your client has a copy of ETAS, you may wish to send the data set only. When your Client imports the data set into their Vault the Client can print the pdf report from here. See section under Features for security of the data set with regard to the non-changeability of the data.
