The first time ETAS is used to produce a certificate for an electrical installation, you will receive a signed-off ETAS file (e.g. by email). This contains a printable PDF report and a snapshot of the inspection data used to generate that report.
When you double-click on the signed-off certificate file (e.g. in your email software), ETAS will launch and save a copy in your Vault folder.
You can optionally take a working copy of the certificate and use it to maintain a record of any changes made to the installation.
When a retest is due, you can export a copy of the previous certificate or the working copy with all the test results cleared and provide it to the contractor. This saves re-recording the entire structure of the installation.
