How the project is being undertaken
By assessing the relevant market sectors, Gelders’ client list, the company ethos, current and future growth strategy, discussions on the intended audience, expectations and branding, the visual style of the pieces required had been determined to ensure impact, longevity and flexibility of exhibition.
The project is fully managed, executively produced and the visual media directed by a member of the Faculty of Media, Humanities and Technology. Production is in collaboration with Brightspark Studios, a media production business, based in the universities own incubation centre – Sparkhouse studios.
Impacts and benefits
This synergy creates access to larger projects for the Sparkhouse businesses and enables the academic to continually utilise their industry skills and pass new ideas and techniques to the student body.
The Gelder Group in turn have access to a wide range of professionals with the necessary industry skills, the project fulfilled to a higher specification, the flexibility of ideas to create new or experimental media and to trial different platforms and models.
