Full stops

Sentences end with a full stop.

Only one space between the full stop and the next sentence.

UCAS house style is to use full stops in e.g. and i.e.

The full stop is not necessary following common titles which are shortened forms of a word.

  • Dr
  • Mr
  • St
  • Mrs

Full stops are not necessary after the initial capital letters commonly used as abbreviations for titles of organisations and countries.
