TNK BP

TNK-BP (now a part of Rosneft) was Russia’s third largest oil company and originally owned by BP and the AAR consortium (Alfa Group/Access Industries/Renova) on a parity basis. Additionally, TNK-BP owned approximately 50% of the vertically-integrated Russian oil and gas company Slavneft.

TNK-BP’s share in Russia’s oil production (including its share in Slavneft) is about 18%. In 2013, TNK-BP was acquired by Rosneft, making Rosneft the world's largest publicly traded oil and gas company.
